Why You Need to Cleanse Your Colon Regularly

The gut is the center of our well-being. It influences our mood and how we show up in our everyday lives. The number of bacteria cells in your gut is more than the number of cells in your body! Your colon is a long tube where nutrients are absorbed (or not). Some people could have up to 7-15lbs of backup in their colon, which will start to alter all bodily functions over time.


Below is a list of symptoms that your body may be giving you to let you know it's time for a cleanse:


  • Gas and bloating after meals

  • Undigested food particles in stool

  • Diarrhea

  • Constipation

  • Headaches

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Can't lose weight in lower belly area

  • Indigestion

  • Hemorrhoids

  • Constantly sick

  • Body odor

  • Mood swings


To cleanse, all you will need are three things:


  1. 2 teaspoons of Pink Himalayan Salt or Celtic Salt

  2. 1-2 Lemon (for taste)

  3. 1 Liter Warm/Hot Water

These three ingredients combined will flush stored waste, allowing your body to better digest and absorb nutrients. You must do this cleanse on an empty stomach in the morning. Mix all the ingredients and drink the mixture as quickly as you can. Once finished, lay down with your legs elevated, set a timer for 30 minutes, and do not use the bathroom until then. Please plan to be near a toilet for 1-2 hours because you must use the bathroom several times before being fully cleansed. Ideally, you want to go until the liquid coming out of you is clear.


Post-cleanse, hydrate with healthy foods and liquids and take probiotic supplements.
