Top Hangover Remedies

The toxic effects of alcohol on your body never seem more apparent than the morning after downing one-too-many shots of tequila. Below are some of my favorite remedies to help ease that horrible hangover pain.
Hydrate: Water alone will not do the trick, you'll need aloe vera juice, coconut water, and/or pressed fruit juice. Hydrating heavily before each night, as well as hydrating in between shots makes the morning, not as horrid.
Supplement: Supplement before and after with dandelion tea and milk thistle seed. These supplements help your body rid of toxins. Also, supplement with CBD/THC to help ease the pain. Supplementing with Vitamin C, Zinc, and B vitamins will also help reduce the severity of the hangover.
Consume Ginger: Ginger is great for combatting vomiting and nausea, adding this into your hangover remedy tool kit is key.
Apple Cider Vinegar: Combining 1-2 tsp of ACV, honey, and warm lemon water is an undefeated combo. Drink this multiple times throughout the morning.
Eat: Keep it light, but go for something that will absorb the liquids in your stomach. My go-to is always toast or oatmeal. If you can scramble or boil some eggs.
Avoid Caffeine: Because caffeine dehydrates you, you're going to want to stay away from coffee and caffeinated drinks/teas.
Avoid Painkillers: Over-the-counter (OTC) products like aspirin, Tylenol, and ibuprofen have side effects that are magnified while alcohol is in your system.
Rest: After quality hydration, make time for some quality rest. DND mode on and set aside 2-3hrs hours for some good sleep!
